INTRODUCTION

Things We Lost In The Fire is a blog/zine about found objects, sounds and writings. There are only 2 contributors and it will stay that way. There are clear rules/criteria for things we use.

1) Nothing can be added to the object, sound or writing. No paint, no polish, no modulation, no distortion, no embellishment, no corrections, nothing. Objects can be photographed from any angle, through any filter, at any setting of the camera. Sounds can be sped up or slowed down, they can be used in part or in whole. Writing can be used in part or in whole, original document must be used.

2) Nothing can be created or destroyed. Nothing can be made for this blog/zine.

3) Nothing copyrighted. If permission can be granted by the maker, composer or author we will get it. If that is not possible, it will be posted as unknown. Should creators come forward and request removal, we will remove.

4) Physical issues of Things We Lost In The Fire will be available 3 times a year in limited quantities. They will be collections, not a full documentation.

5) We will field questions as best we can. Any dialogue will be honest. All questions will receive an answer. You are owed that much for taking interest in our project but we can't promise the answer will come quickly, we do have jobs, families and obligations.

Thank you for your interest and time. We can be reached via the comments section here or via the email we will provide with each post going forward.
